This program highlights the latest information in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, the newest research areas, and other pertinent issues in clinical psychiatry and mental health.
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Grand Rounds presentations are held on Wednesday mornings 8:00am - 9:00am, virtually and at the Medical College of Wisconsin Research Park Center when conditions permit. Grand Rounds runs the first three Wednesdays of each month from September through June. Generally, in-person Grand Rounds will take place on the 3rd Wednesday of that month's Grand Rounds. Topic, presenter(s), and location are subject to change.

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:
- Describe the key symptoms and risk factors associated with post-stroke depression (PSD), enhancing awareness for early detection and intervention.
- Analyze the various treatment approaches and rehabilitation strategies for managing post-stroke depression (PSD)
- Demonstrate the importance of family support, caregiver education, and prevention strategies in mitigating the impact of post-stroke depression (PSD) on stroke survivors' quality of life and overall recovery.
