This series of presentations is designed to provide continuing education for psychotherapists who treat children and adolescents.  This activity will bring the audience up to date on the most current evidence based psychological treatments for youth covering a wide array of behavioral and emotional problems.

Target Audience

Psychologists, social workers, counselors, and other allied mental health professionals

Learning Objectives

  1. List three potential negative outcomes for children who have lost a loved one
  2. Describe how the school can support the grieving child
  3. Name at least two barriers to resolution of the grief process
