This series of presentations is designed to provide continuing education for psychotherapists who treat children and adolescents.  This activity will bring the audience up to date on the most current evidence based psychological treatments for youth covering a wide array of behavioral and emotional problems.

Target Audience

Psychologists, social workers, counselors, and other allied mental health professionals

Learning Objectives

  1. Describe at least two determinants of race-based trauma
  2. Explain how these determinants get conveyed to children
  3. List at least three strategies for mitigating the negative effects of race-based trauma in children
