Program Description: 

Together In Care is a year-long webinar based educational series focused on neonatal-perinatal palliative care concepts for neonatal teams. Our goals include equipping neonatal team members with the competencies and comfort to utilize primary palliative care skills and recognize when to collaborate with specialty palliative care.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Provide insight on what families really need in terms of bereavement support
  •  Describe prepare NICU teams for bereavement situations
  • Understand to set up hospital units to be a place where appropriate bereavement is set up and can take place appropriately
