The APP Education Series offers diverse topics from clinical-based knowledge, pharmacological updates, professional development, and leadership skills targeted to the APP population.

Learning objectives: 

Participants who engage in this educational intervention will be able to:

  • Review Froedtert Hospital’s emergency response team design and list two ways to activate each team. 
  • Identify patients that qualify for an emergency response team intervention.
  • Review the Medical Emergency Response Committee’s system for process improvement and establish pathways to escalate concerns.
  • Verbalize two ways improve communication with critical care teams and facilitate transfer of high risk patients to the intensive care units within Froedtert Hospital.
