  • Identify appropriate psychopharmacological, somatic, psychotherapeutic, or psychosocial interventions for various psychiatric disorders
  • Initiate appropriate intervention (those noted above) or be able to appropriately refer to someone who can offer this
  • Identify best practices for various psychiatric disorders
  • Appreciate ethical considerations that influence treatment
