Advisory Board Fellowships

Washington DC, DC US
November 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014
This classroom intensive was developed by diverse teams of researchers and expert facilitators at the Advisory Board Company, and in consultation with advisors at leading business schools. Teaching plans are grounded in national best practice research in health care strategies and operations, as well as out-of-industry examples. Our research has included dozens of interviews with health care executives and physician leaders, as well as analysis of trends in health care economics and delivery systems.
This work also draws upon more than two decades of research by The Advisory Board Company, which serves more than 30,000 executives and clinical leaders at the world’s largest, and most progressive health systems, hospitals, medical groups, insurers, and pharmaceutical companies. In addition to research and interviews conducted specifically for this workshop, curriculum developers have drawn upon the company’s research archive, which annually includes:
•35+ major research initiatives on health care strategy and clinical operations
•10,000+ case profiles of innovative business and clinical practices
•100,000+ interviews with executives, clinicians, and economists
