Please check back for those.) You may download the presentations that may be of interest to you onto your own laptop or similiar device/to print out before you arrive at the conference. No hard copy handouts will be provided.
 

About the Conference: The Winter Refresher Course (WRC) for Family Medicine is a regional conference presented in the metropolitan area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Typically attracting more than 200 family practitioners, FP physician assistants, FP nurse practitioners and FP residents, the WRC is sponsored by the Department of Family Medicine.

Who Should Attend
This program is designed for family physicians as well as nurse practitioners, physician and assistants and other primary care physicians who practice in a variety of settings including the hospital, nursing home, and office.

The WRC will:

  1. Apply clinical updates for primary care providers in areas of general preventive and adult medicine, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
  2. Effectively work in teams for problem solving and goal achievement
  3. Present evidence-based updates designed to improve primary care practice systems and policies
  4. Enhance inter-professional collaboration
